fit under the heading "Linux accessibility". If you cannot find something
here or are looking for a specific tool for a specific programming task, it
is recommended that you search  Google and  SourceForge.

Se andiamo nello specifico di KDE, attualmente si applicano API di supporto
all'accessibilità in via sperimentale (basta che leggi il VPAT presentato
nel loro sito per capire come non vi sia ancora un supporto a livello di API
per le tecnologie assistive...)

Per chi interessa l'argomento:
AT-SPI (Assistive Technologies Service Provider Interface) is an
interprocess communication protocol that
allows assistive technologies to access all of the graphical user interfaces
of an application, abstracting from
toolkit dependent GUI objects. It was developed by the GNOME Accessibility
Project, but it is based on
CORBA and was written as a toolkit-independent protocol that is also used by
Mozilla, OpenOffice and Java.
Future versions of KDE will eliminate the requirement for CORBA. The
experimental bridge is available at
